3PL leases in Chicago


New York-based Ashley Capital has leased 90,625 sq ft of warehouse space within Calumet Business Center to Mansfield Warehousing and Distribution (MWD Logistics), an Ohio-based third party logistics provider. Occupancy is planned for September 2008.

Calumet Business Center is a rail-served industrial park representing 12 buildings totaling in excess of 2 million sq ft located along I-94 in the city of Chicago. The industrial park is capable of accommodating tenant needs from 15,000 sq ft to 250,000 sq ft. MWD Logistics' space is part of a recently renovated 242,107-sq-ft rail-served building known as 1500 East 97th Street.

Chris Gary, George Cibula, SIOR, and Ryan Hanley of Darwin Realty & Development Corp. represented the landlord, Ashley Capital. Victor DeBoer and Adam Haefner, also of Darwin Realty represented the tenant, MWD Logistics.
