by Walter KovacsMinneapolis-St. PaulCarlson Hotels Worldwide, headquartered in Minneapolis, announced several new executive appointments for its senior leadership team. Formerly executive vice president of revenue generation, Fredrik Korallus has been named the new executive vice president and chief operating officer of Radisson Hotels & Resorts Operating Company, a new organizational entity. Wendy Nelson was named the new executive vice president of brand strategy for Radisson Hotels & Resorts. She was formerly executive vice president of Carlson Hotels Real Estate Co. Executive vice president of franchise operations for select service hotels Steve Mogck was named executive vice president and chief operating officer of a second new organizational entity, Country Inns & Suites By Carlson Operating Co. Nancy Johnson was named executive vice president of business development for all Carlson Hotel brands in the Americas, leaving her former position as executive vice president of franchise operations for full service hotels and franchise development. Chief financial officer Bob Kleinschmidt has taken on additional responsibilities as chief administrative officer for finance, legal, operational support services, technical services and procurement. Paula Winkler, chief information officer, added the responsibilities of operational support services including information technology, distribution, revenue optimization, loyalty programs, training, education and development areas as well as property support services.
