Sherman Associates moves forward on K.C. redevelopment

The building at 1006 Grand
Minneapolis-based Sherman Associates Development, LLC, is moving forward on their plan to turn a 99-year-old Kansas City office tower into a 134-unit apartment building after their plan was unanimously approved by the Kansas City council last week.

The Grand Boulevard Lofts, to be built in the almost century old 1006 Grand Blvd. build, will have 16 stories of apartments and a retail and office ground floor.

The building is located within four blocks of the new H&R Corporate Headquarters, the Power & Light Entertainment District, the Sprint Center Arena and the Kansas City Central Public library and will be adjacent to the the Government District and the Library District.
