Mid-America secures five leases for Chicago retail center

Mid-America Asset Management, Inc., has secured five new retail leases at Marshfield Plaza in Chicago, Ill.

Mid-America's Richard Spinell, Paul Bryant and Mary Beth Menelli represented the property's owner, locally-based Primestor Development.

The following tenants signed leases and plan to open in early 2009: Chili's (6,300 square feet), CJ Beauty Supply (4,000 square feet), T-Mobile (3,000 square feet), Subway (1,200 square feet) and Panda Express (2,200 square feet).

The new leases bring Phase 1 of Marshfield Plaza to nearly 100 percent occupancy. Construction on the 454,000-square-foot retail center is more than 50 percent complete. It is located at West 119th Street and South Marshfield Avenue.
