Chicago-based Lillibridge has announced that it will develop a three-story, 76,000-square-foot medical office building (MOB) for Health First. Construction is expected to start in February 2009 with completion in early 2010.

The facility will be located on a 50-acre campus, along with the new 100-bed Viera Hospital and 70,000 square foot Pro-Health & Fitness Center at the Viera Health Park in Viera, Fla. The new campus is located in Brevard County on the eastern coast of Florida and is one of the fastest-growing areas in the state.

The MOB will be designed to complement the architecture of the new hospital, and will connect to the hospital and the Pro Health & Fitness Center via a pedestrian courtyard. The facility will house a comprehensive imaging and diagnostic center, including MRI, CT, and nuclear medicine. Medical office space will be leased by private practice physicians and physicians employed by Health First.
